Euro Motors, the exclusive importer and distributor for luxury automotive manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover in the Kingdom of Bahrain, is elated to announce that the celebrations for the most anticipated drive event in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the 3rd year anniversary of the Land Rover Experience Bahrain, will take place on the 23rd and 24th of February 2018, at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir.
To commemorate the very special occasion of 3 years since the inception of the first Land Rover Experience Centre in the Middle East region, Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover is set to host a 2 day celebratory event. For the first time ever, the event will be organized in collaboration with Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors Company, the authorized dealer of Jaguar Land Rover in Saudi Arabia.
The anniversary event will consist of exhilarating LRE Experience sessions for VIPs, representatives of the media, as well as current and prospective clients from both dealerships. The celebratory event will be held on Friday, the 23rd of February 2018 from 3 pm to 10 pm, and on Saturday, the 24th of February 2018 from 11 am to 8 pm.
Apart from the Land Rover Experience drives, guests will also be able to participate in the Jaguar Dynamic Drive event, wherein Jaguar prospects are given an opportunity to drive the Jaguar range of vehicles on Open tarmac exercises supervised by Jaguar’s very own qualified instructors.
This year will see the return of one of the most advanced technologies used in any drive event, the Smart Cones. The Smart Cones will be used as part of the Smart Cone Challenge, wherein wireless technology is used to randomly illuminate pairs of cones to set out a different route for the driver each time. With millions of different potential options taking place in real time, the technology will provide a unique test of driving skill, precision and reactions.
During the two-day event, guest will be treated to a wide range of exciting activities for adults and children alike. Children will be able to experience Land Rovers first-hand by driving miniature models around an exciting track made exclusively for them. Guests will also be able to compete with one another and test their reflexes on the BATAK, which is a training device used by race drivers and athletes to improve reaction, hand-eye coordination and stamina.

Located in the heart of the Sakhir desert within the grounds of Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in The Middle East’, the Land Rover Experience Centre Bahrain covers 3.5 kilometres of varying terrains such as sand, rock, hill and water landscapes. There are 32 natural and man-made obstacles allowing guests to traverse terrain including slide slopes, humps, rocks, gravel roads and watercourses, all the while assessing the driving environment, maximising the capability and technology of the vehicle and most importantly developing driving skills in the world’s most capable luxury vehicles. In addition to the existing obstacles at the Land Rover Experience Centre, a new obstacle called the ‘Peanut’ has been introduced, which tests the handling and suspension of the vehicles.
In order to provide a comprehensive experience, a Jaguar Dynamic Drive event will also be organized, which is part of the Jaguar’s Art of Performance Tour – a worldwide tour where Jaguar fans can experience a drive that only a Jaguar can deliver. The Art of Performance Tour aims to pull together the sales-focused global drive activities for Jaguar under a single global communication banner. Guided by expert instructors, this test drive pushes Jaguar to the limits through exhilarating challenges.
