First-Ever Educational Route in Bahrain Inaugurated

The first-ever educational route project in the kingdom of Bahrain was officially inaugurated in Riffa. This was announced by the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning via its official social media and website.

The project, which was officially inaugurated by Eng. Esam Khalaf, Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, is located in Riffa. The idea originated as transforming the narrow routes, where cars can barely pass into educational areas to entertain children and develop their talents by exploring their abilities. The project will bring in the positive energies of for their benefit and knowledge.

The educational route represents a quality gift to the society that adopts new ideas to achieve people’s aspirations.

Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the National Initiative for the Development of the Agricultural Sector; Dr. Fatima Al Balushi, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Trust Foundation and a number of officials were present at the official inauguration.

Eng. Esam Khalaf praised the efforts exerted by the Bahrain Trust Foundation in cooperation with the Municipal Council, the Southern Region Municipality, other government agencies, volunteers and supporters, to implement this pioneering educational project. He added that the project provides a safe environment for children to play, entertain and develop knowledge. He stressed that the private sector was a key partner of the ministry in promoting and developing services.
