Y K Almoayyed and Sons, the sole distributor of Nissan vehicles in Bahrain, has announced the arrival of its first female Bahraini intern, Asma Mohammed Ashfaq. Ms Asma will be working as a car technician at the Nissan Service Centre in Sitra for two months. During her internship, Asma will gain hands-on experience in the field of automotive technology and diagnostics. She will work closely with a team of experienced technicians who will mentor her and help her develop the skills and knowledge she needs to succeed in the industry.

Traditionally, this job has been perceived as suitable only for men. However, Asma is breaking the gender barrier and paving the way for other women in the automotive industry.
