Yas Mall visitors are invited to ‘Make a Wish’ Come True with Just One Dirham at Geant, Yas Mall from today until December 31, 2017.
In support of “Make a Wish”, UAE, Geant, Yas Mall and Aldar Properties are proud to announce the following memorandum of understanding signed by HH Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of Make-A-Wish® UAE, and HE Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, CEO of Aldar Properties.
The new initiative was formalized today at a press conference given by Saoud Khoory, General Manager of Yas Mall, Hani Alzubaidi, CEO of Make-A-Wish® UAE and Mark Lack, COO of Geant. Also in attendance were HH Sheika Noor bint Fahim Al Qassimi, Trustee Board Member of Make-A-Wish® UAE.
From 30th April – 31December 2017, valued shoppers of Geant, Yas Mall will be asked to make a 1 AED contribution to the Make a Wish UAE. All proceeds will be donated directly to Make-A-Wish® UAE, which is a charity that seeks to grant the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions.
The Make-A-Wish® UAE steps in to assist these children and their families by providing support, hope and strength through the fulfillment of wishes. By focusing on the granting of children’s wishes, the Make-A-Wish® UAE brings magic and joy to these children each year, by satisfying their most cherished wish. From the magic and power of having their most cherished wish granted, these children are given hope, strength and much joy.
This special initiative between Geant hypermarket, Yas Mall and Make-A-Wish® UAE supports Yas Mall’s commitment to The UAE’s ‘Year of Giving’, and reflects how the mall is encouraging Yas Mall retailers and valued customers in an effort to join them to raise awareness and support of humanitarian initiatives within the UAE.
