The Postal Services app is one of the most useful apps you can have on your smartphone. It not only offers you convenience, but also ensures that you can still complete your mailing tasks while maintaining social distancing.
Provided by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, in cooperation with the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), the app offers a wide range of postal services which can be used by individuals or companies.
Through the app, users can renew mailbox fees, update contact details, track and enquire about the status of postal deliveries, calculate mailing costs locally and internationally, view locations and details of post offices and public mailboxes, view collections of available stamps, and receive notifications in case of any changes in status.
Available in both Arabic and English, the app also offers an informative FAQs section to guide users through postal procedures, such as renewal fees and processing times, required documentation, delivery and shipment rules such as maximum parcel and postal weight, prohibited items, and more.
The app is available for both Android and iOS, and can be downloaded by visiting the eGovernment Apps Store bahrain.bh/apps or downloaded from the known app stores.
The postal services also available via the National Portal Bahrain.bh and through the ekiosks.
