Whether you need to secure an entry permit or further your education or professional career, there are numerous reasons why you may need to have good conduct certificates available. Having so many uses traditionally meant multiple visits to government offices, which can be quite time-consuming and is not ideal under the current circumstances.

You’ll be happy to know that you can now request several types of good conduct certificates quickly and easily online via the National Portal, bahrain.bh

Launched by Ministry of Interior (MOI) represented by the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, in collaboration with the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), the new service includes issuance of good conduct certificates, status enquiries, certificate validity checks, rules and regulations, and access to directories of police stations where fingerprints can be registered and service centers where the certificates can be collected.

To avail the new service, applicants must be either Bahraini citizens with passport validity of at least 3 months, or residents with permit validity of at least 10 days. There must also be no other pending requests of the same service.

Using the service is straightforward, as applicants can simply enter the required data, specify the method of receiving the certificates and the number of copies required, and then pay the service fees. A reference number will be sent for the applicant to use in tracking the request online.

The service is in line with social distancing measures introduced by the Kingdom to combat the spread of the novel Coronavirus.

For any suggestions or enquiries on the services, please contact us via the National Suggestions & Complaints System Tawasul at bahrain.bh/tawasul or call 80008001.
