Government apps at your service!

These days, our smartphones are much more than just phones. We rely on them for work, leisure, directions and many more important aspects of our daily lives. So it is no wonder that the number of applications it is being used for is increasing. And when it comes to using apps that add convenience to our government services and transactions, then you’ll be glad to know that there’s a place that offers exactly that: bahrain.bh/apps

Launched by the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), the government  app store  is host to several apps that cover a wide range of government services, including the “Tawasul” app, the mobile version of the National Suggestion and Complaint System, which can be used to place all your suggestions, inquires and complaints to the government entities, and express your satisfaction as well. The “Electricity & Water Services” app, which allows customers to enquire about utility bills and pay them online, amongst several other services.

Government Apps

This is in addition to other valuable time-saving apps. Such as “eTraffic”, which allows users to view their traffic records and pay fines. “GovDirectory”, which gives you a comprehensive resource of contacts for government entities. “GovEmployee”, which is a useful tool for those working in the government sector. Used to check their salary slips, attendance or even the performance and many more. “Sehati” app, which offers a host of health services to the public such as finding doctors and booking appointments.

The government app store  which includes 17thgovernmental apps even allows users to search for the desired app by its category, such as Education, Entertainment, Finance, and others, adding even further layers of convenience to the user experience.
