Tamkeen held a graduation ceremony for 18 students from the third batch of young Bahrainis who had enrolled in Tamkeen’s graphic design training program. The training aims to prepare young Bahrainis for employment in the media sector as part of Tamkeen’s efforts to support and build the capabilities of Bahrainis throughout their developmental stages in line with labor market needs.

This year’s graduates bring the total number of Bahrainis who have completed training under the programme to 49.

The program consisted of six months of intensive theoretical training delivered by experts from twofour54 and was followed by a two-month internship in a number of media companies and organizations in the country. The program was conducted in partnership with twofour54, the commercial arm of Abu Dhabi’s media zone, as well as the Capital Knowledge Institute.

Tamkeen’s Chief Executive Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi praised the program’s benefits, saying: “Tamkeen seeks to support Bahrainis working across the Kingdom’s various key sectors, including the marketing, advertising, public relations and graphic design fields. These fields help companies and enterprises to create and solidify a distinct identity and maintain a firm reputation in the market. We are delighted to cooperate with both twofour54 and the Capital Knowledge Institute to offer unique opportunities to a number of passionate Bahrainis, helping them lead the development of this industry in the Kingdom.”
