HM King receives ambassadors’ credentials

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has today received the credentials of five new ambassadors during a ceremony held at the Al-Sakhir Palace here. The new envoys are H.E Mostafa Benkhayi of Morocco, H.E Pradeepa Priyanganie Saram of Sri Lanka, H.E Roddy Drummond of the United Kingdom, H.E. Chintushig Zorigt of Mangolia(Kuwait-resident), and H.E Sayed Jalal Karim of Afghanistan(Riyadh-Resident).

HM the King exchanged welcome statements with the new ambassadors, and hailed the strong bilateral relations and steadily-growing ties binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and their respective brotherly and friendly countries, wishing them success in performing their diplomatic duties to consolidate relations of cooperation and friendship with Bahrain.

The ambassadors conveyed to HM King Hamad greetings and appreciation from their countries’ leaders, who wished HM the King abundant health and happiness and Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity, lauding the solid relations between their countries and Bahrain.

The ceremony was attended by the Royal Court Minister, Foreign Minister and the Royal Protocols chief.

The ambassadors arrived at the Al-Sakhir Palace separately, and were each welcomed by the Royal Protocols chief.
