His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Nayef bin Falah Al Hajraf, on the occasion of his visit to the kingdom.
HM the King welcomed him and reviewed with him a number of issues pertaining mainly to boosting the GCC march to achieve peoples’ aspirations for more growth and prosperity. He praised the pioneering achievements of the Gulf Cooperation Council which aimed to promote joint GCC work and integration in various fields.
HM the King lauded the efforts of the GCC Secretary General, his assistants and all affiliates of the Secretariat General to boost the GCC march and promote coordination and cooperation among the member states to bring about further achievements.
The GCC Secretary General expressed thanks and respect to HM the King, stressing the active role of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its efforts to boost the GCC march and maximize its achievements.
