Step 3: Engaging with your Instagram followers
While everyone are critical with the number of followers they have, keeping them engaged is a main concern one must really take seriously. This is an absolute importance if you want to have a strong network of followers and get the most out of your Instagram experience. A reminder though is to NOT frequently place a new post.
Limit it to at least one every after 6 hours or if you can do 1 each day then it would be good. As I mentioned in our initial topics, quality always beats quantity.
It is best to share only great photos, even if that means posting less often. Constant posts or sharing multiple photos with minimal interval takes up a lot of space in your followers alerts/ feeds and it might result to them unfollowing you.
On another note, I recommend adding a catchy but helpful description on your posts to make them intriguing. You can incorporate a question on your post; or you can also share a story behind the image you are sharing. One other option is adding a useful tip that relates to your post.
Finally, always practice proper demeanor when dealing with your followers. Respond to their comments and questions. A simple “Thank You”, or answering their questions on how you took the photo or which app you used allows you to build a better relationship with your followers. And most importantly, always take criticisms constructively.
