Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, was presented with the “HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Award for Voluntary Work”, granted to the Information Affairs Ministry in recognition of its efforts and the contributions of its national competences at the frontline of the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
This came as the minister received here today Good Word Society Chairman, Arab Union for Voluntary Work President, and the Award’s Organising Committee Chairman, Hassan Mohammed Bu Hazza.
Bu Hazza lauded the major role played by the Information Ministry at the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, which, he said, has entitled it to be among the winners of the prestigious award.
