In a benevolent gesture that reflects the Bank’s appreciation to the noble national efforts exerted in light of the challenging circumstances witnessed by Bahrain and the world due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), one of the leading Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has recently held a special ceremony to honour its employees working in all branches across the Kingdom in recognition of the key role played by KHCB Branch Employees in the frontlines and as part of Team Bahrain, expressing the Bank’s gratitude for the efforts they have dedicated to ensure the availability of services to clients, despite the health risks that have called for the adoption of strict precautionary measures to protect the health and safety of employees and clients alike.

Attending the ceremony, which was held throughout two days to ensure the implementation of social distancing and in line with the necessary preventive and precautionary measures, was KHCB CEO Mr. Sattam Sulaiman Algosaibi.

During the meeting, Mr. Algosaibi highlighted the essential role of the Bank’s Branch Employees, describing their efforts as stemming from their patriotic sense and dedication to the Kingdom and their keenness to continue providing Individual and Corporate Banking Services to all, realizing that carrying out their duties despite unfavourable circumstances is a national responsibility to support Team Bahrain’s efforts of enhancing and stabilizing the Kingdom’s financial position.

The CEO stated that KHCB takes pride in the devotion and dedication of its employees, to who he conveyed utmost thanks and appreciation on behalf of the Bank’s Board of Directors and Executive Management, saying: ” It was not easy working amidst a pandemic that threatens lives and poses a great danger to everyone’s health, especially during the first months which were difficult in light of rapid changes made to identify the virus and methods of prevention, requiring everyone to take the necessary measures to adapt to developments and prevent its spread.”
