Obtaining or renewing visas in the Kingdom of Bahrain is a relatively simple procedure. All you need to do is ensure that your documents are in order when you visit service centers. However, due to the current pandemic, the government has placed its highest priority on protecting people’s health. With that in mind, a range of new eVisa services have been launched, allowing you to finalize all your visa transactions quickly and without any hassles via the National Portal, bahrain.bh.
Launched by Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) in collaboration with the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), the new eServices are meant to streamline the process for residents in the Kingdom, while also ensuring they maintain social distancing measures.
The eVisa services include: Visa Requests, Requests and Visa Management, Bahrain eVisa Website Services, and certain services related to terms and conditions relating to the use of services via the National Portal. The new services allow citizens and residents to submit and manage eVisa applications easily and effectively.
Through the Visa Requests service, users can apply for extensions and settle the required fees if any, whether the visa has a guarantor or not. The Requests and Visa Management service, offers a range of applications and visas. Bahrain eVisa Website Services includes four services relating to new visas for visitors and owners of Commercial Registrations (CR), both not requiring guarantors, namely: Visa Requests Status Entry, Visa Guarantor Registration, and Visa Guarantor Login.
