Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)‘s Association, headed by Dr. Shaikha Ishaa bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the association’s branch in Bahrain, accompanied by Dr. Issa Qambar and Dr. Ali Zlit.
The minister congratulated Dr. Shaikha Ishaa Al Khalifa on her election as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the association’s branch in Bahrain. He praised the activities of the IEEE and discussed the procedures required to complete the registration of the Institute’s branch in Bahrain after its approval previously by the Council of Ministers.
Earlier, the minister said that the electricity and water sector supports the efforts to complete the opening of a branch of the Institute in Bahrain, which will have a significantly positive impact on the outstanding activities of electrical and electronic engineers.
Dr. Shaikha Ishaa and the delegation members thanked Dr. Mirza and the ministry officials for their support.
