In a spectacular display of cultural diversity and linguistic unity, New Horizon School celebrated Vishwa Hindi Diwas with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event, held on 10th January 2024, brought together all the students and teachers to honor and celebrate the significance of the Hindi language.
The celebration commenced with a captivating Welcome dance performance and various other eye-catching and flamboyant programmes by the young performers such as group songs, skit on ‘Hindi Maatras’ and a mesmerizing bamboo dance performance. Master Divyaansh of Grade 7 took center stage to share important facts about the Hindi language and its global relevance.
Principal, Mrs.Vandana Sateesh, recognized the efforts and talents of the students and the Hindi department, while felicitating the gathering.
The Head of the Hindi Department, Mrs. Sindhu Mohanlal, then declared the results of various competitions held during the celebration.
Adding to this, a proud moment of NHS was witnessed, when Master Shardul Mahesh of Grade 7, received a certificate from the Indian Ambassador on winning 2nd Prize in the Hindi Doha Recitation competition held this year.
New Horizon School’s Vishwa Hindi Diwas celebration, not only showcased the cultural diversity within its student body but also emphasized the importance of preserving and celebrating linguistic heritage in a global context.Â
