Record Registration at Yalla Banat All-Female Car Parade

Yalla Banat officially opened its doors on 19th October  to 2000+ attendees. Registered visitors came from all over the region to take part in this historical event. Close to 400 people registered to take part in the first all female parade from across the globe.  The parade kicked off with 275 cars on the track surrounded by 400+ supporters consisting of families, friends, several communities and Sponsor teams in Bahrain.

The parade included 9  INFINITI Bahrain cars to support Yalla Banat as the Exclusive Automotive Sponsor of Yalla Banat. In addition, INFINITI Bahrain launched an exclusive deal for attendees to save 1,000 BHD if you buy an Infiniti with Yalla Banat. In addition, INFINITI Bahrain showcased the all-new QX50 2019 at the event which was launched recently in Bahrain.

The Yalla Banat was the first initiative in Bahrain to be showcased on the NASDAQ Times Square Billboard. NASDAQ was proud to support Yalla Banat and supported Michele Carlsson who is their Managing Director of North Africa & Middle East that was on the track with all the other panelists.

The festival started with a televised Round table discussion panel with 10 very successful women & men from across the GCC sharing their “road to success”. The panel included two discussions – “Women winning in sports” & “Women working in workplace” where panelists such as  Tarek Miknas, CEO of Fortune Promoseven Network Middle East & North Africa, KSA Ambassador and panelist Aseel Al Hammad, the first female member of the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation and part of the International Automobile Federation will be joining the Yalla Banat event while supporting the cause with young Saudi leaders in the KSA region. Mariam Turki, Finance Compliance Specialist at NBB, Michele Carlsson, the Head of Business Development Middle East and Africa at Nasdaq, Hadyah Fathallah, Executive Director of C5 Accelerator, Genevieve Gordan, CEO of Tactic Connect Ltd, Iman Mutlaq, CEO of INGOT Group and recipient of the Forbes Award for the Most Influential Women in the Middle East, Martine Kindt, CEO of Bell Racing Helmets & Kappa Consults, and Amna Al Qubaisi, the first Emirati female race car driver. Regional and global speakers shared their personal stories and insights to 200+ VIP local, regional and global guests.

The Yalla Banat hosted the 1st Bahraini Motorshow Competition that included  40+Super/Hypercards, Classic Cars, Road cars, Motorbikes and Scooters. Judges chose the winning cars by giving extra points for creative stickers, add-ons, and uniqueness of the car design.

Ride Nation launched at Yalla Banat bringing Bahraini athletes and cyclists who attended and cycled for the special launch of RideNation which is a boutique multi-sensory indoor cycling studio coming to Bahrain in 2019.  The indoor cycling studio will have mesmerizing light shows, exhilarating music and world-class instruction, ensuring a mind-blowing experience with fitness as a bonus.

Additional event activities included Test Drives including a Jaguar, Dragster, Land Rover, and track experience, an Art Expo led by Aysha Almoayyed, Kids Engagement Zone, Food truck zone with seating area, Live Graffiti shows and others.
