Principal’s Award Recipient – Fatima Abbady (Year 6) receives her award from Ed Goodwin, Principal

The Year 6 and 7 ‘Celebration of Achievement’ took place at the Saar Campus.

A welcome address was made by Wendy Bataineh, Head of the Junior School, followed by introductions by Rob van der Eyken, Year Leader for Year 6, and Kathryn Beck, Head of Year 7.

‘Achievement Awards’ were presented to the students by Ed Goodwin OBE, Principal of St Christopher’s, ‘Progress and Effort Awards’ were presented by Ian Fellows, Head of the Infant School, ‘Citizenship and Learning Awards’ were presented by Wendy Bataineh, ‘Class and Form Awards’ were presented by Nick Wilson, Head of the Senior School, and the Principal’s Award was presented by Ed Goodwin.

Year Leader/Head of Year Awards – Kyla Reekie (Year 6) receives her award from Rob van der Eyken, Year Leader for Year 6

‘Academic Achievement Awards’ were awarded to thirty nine students, thirty nine students were recognised for their ‘Outstanding Progress’, ‘Effort Awards’ were presented to eighteen students, ‘Citizenship Awards’ were presented to fourteen students, ‘Global Citizenship Awards’ were presented to fourteen students (with Abbie Marshall from Year 6 and Maisie Brandreth from Year 7 being awarded ‘Overall Global Citizen Awards’), ‘Autonomous Learner Awards’ were given to fourteen students, ‘Class Teacher/Form Tutor Awards’ were presented to fourteen students, and ‘Class Peer’ awards were presented to fourteen students.

Kyla Reekie (Year 6) and Anae Dreyer (Year 7) received Year Leader/Head of Year Awards, and Fatima Abbady (Year 6) and Max Chadwick (Year 7) were the 2016 Principal’s Award Recipients.
