If you’ve had a pleasant experience when dealing with government entities or employees, a show of appreciation  to a service  above expectation or very well perceived will go great to  and spread  culture of positive public service. This simple act will go a long way towards improving public services and rewarding the careers of the men and women who provide them. Recognizing the value of such interactions, the National Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul) and the Tawasul app, offer a platform for citizens and residents to participate.

Provided by the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) across the Tawasul platform , the ‘Thanks & Appreciation’ eService allows citizens and residents to extend their gratitude to any government entity or government service  or employee following a positive experience or making life easier . Highlighting exceptional cases where government employees have gone above and beyond in their duties will inspire others within the public sector to strive for excellence. This approach not only appreciates the individual efforts of employees, but also sets a benchmark for service quality and excellence in government work .

To use the feature , visit Tawasul bahrain.bh/Tawasul  or open the Tawasul app and select ‘Thanks & Appreciation’. Then, choose the relevant government entity and provide details about yourself. Next, select the relevant category from the options (government entity, or service, or employee), write your message and click ‘submit’.

This initiative is more than just a feedback tool. It is a step towards building a more engaged and responsive government. It helps to foster a positive interactive environment, improve user experience, and enhance competitiveness, which is essential in today’s fast-paced world where effective public service is increasingly valued.

Tawasul enhances an open-door policy by facilitating direct communication for users with all the participating government entities of more than 50 to date, . It includes features such as:

  • Submitting any suggestion or feedback to government entities, with the possibility of reopening a complaint within 14 days from the date of the entity’s response.
  • Reporting any malfunction or general observation by photographing it and sending it through the Fix2Go feature.
  • Evaluating response of government entity to improve performance, enhance competitiveness, and more.

To use the service, simply visit bahrain.bh/tawasul or download the Tawasul app via the eGovernment Apps Store bahrain.bh/apps. The process is user-friendly and accessible, making it easy for anyone to participate in this culture of gratitude.
