Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa has received General Directorate of Civil Defence director-general Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al-Hooty, who was accompanied by a number of officers. Deputy Governor Brigadier Isa bin Thamer Al-Dosary attended.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of security initiatives and precautionary disinfection campaigns which were carried out across the Southern Governorate, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Defence.
He then honoured a number of civil defence officers in recognition of their efforts and partnership in conducting precautionary disinfection campaigns and field visits which supported preventive measures against COVID-19.
