The American University of Bahrain (AUBH), has announced the last call for admissions for spring 2021 which will close on February 11, 2021. The University has seen strong enrollment for the Class of 2024, with students representing 13 nationalities beginning degrees across three Colleges of Architecture & Design, Engineering and Business & Management. Benefiting from an American-style education in region, many transfer students who have chosen not to return abroad have been welcomed to the University.

AUBH’s Founding President, Dr. Susan E. Saxton commented “We cannot wait to welcome the new spring cohort of the Class of 2024 on campus and are grateful that students who have chosen not to return abroad have put their trust in us. We are committed to everyone’s safety and well-being, and our active Student Council, faculty, and staff look forward to welcoming our new students as a part of the AUBH family.”

The University was the only institution to re-open its purpose-built campus to students in September 2020, in accordance with the Kingdom’s Higher Education Council and Ministry of Health guidelines. The strategy involved an advanced dual modality learning model across all programs. This solution allowed AUBH Students to attend small group classes or attend classes in a virtual setting, based on individual needs. The University had a strict safety plan to ensure social distancing and the highest standards of hygiene for those attending on campus.
