Yas Marina Circuit has announced that its popular StartYAS and TrainYAS fitness sessions will move to early morning time slots during the period of 2nd February to 16th February inclusive. Please also note that GoYAS will be cancelled for the duration.
There will be no evening sessions during this period.
The move is due to a busy motorsports calendar occupying the track in the month of February, allowing continuity of access to the full 5.5km length of the circuit for those training in preparation for TriYAS and WTS ITU.
The organisers have announced the dates of the rescheduled sessions are as follows:
- TrainYAS (Tuesdays) – 2nd, 9th, 16th
- StartYAS (Sundays) – 7th, 14th
- GoYAS (Wednesdays) will be cancelled.
The timings for the new sessions are:
- 04:30am – registration opens
- 5am-8am – track access for walking, running and cycling
The list of available facilities include:
- Haddins Tri Training continues
- Access to 400 free bikes provided by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi
- Lockers available in Yas Central;
- Showers can be taken in Yas Central
- Coffee & light breakfast (attendees will be charged for this service)
Please note that normal service will resume from Sunday 21st February with the return of StartYAS at the regular evening timings.
