VIVA named as the official “Strategic ICT Partner” of MEET ICT & BITEX 2018

The Kingdom’s leading telecom operator, VIVA Bahrain has been named as the official “Strategic ICT Partner” of the leading Information and Communication Technology (ICT) conference in Bahrain, MEET ICT and BITEX, scheduled to be held from February 13th – 15th 2018 at the Gulf Convention Center. The event, held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Engineer Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, is one of the biggest industry events on the island and attracts participation from leading ICT companies collaborating to discuss technology innovations, and advanced solutions and latest trends in the sector.

Commenting on the event, Mr. Ulaiyan Al Wetaid, VIVA Bahrain CEO, “We’re honoured to support BITEX for the third consecutive year and reinforce Bahrain’s position as the region’s leading ICT player. This event is one of the strongest ICT platforms that connects industry experts and professionals from across the region and we’re looking forward to sharing experiences, learning industry achievements and making collaborative decisions that pave the way for future development.”

As the strategic ICT partner for the third consecutive year of MEET ICT and BITEX, now in its eighth year, VIVA Bahrain will be participating under the “Cloud Services & Security” theme – showcasing its latest products, services and solutions in the ICT domain.
