The Bahraini capital Manama is to host on Sunday May 22nd, a press conference to highlight the upcoming WOW exhibition which is scheduled during the period from 2nd – 4th of June 2016, under the patronage of Shaikha Noora Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.
Many details are to be revealed by the organizers (Medpoint) during the press conference which will be hosted by LuLu Hypermarket, located in Galleria Mall, related to the participating venues that are interested in women’s needs, such as a number of leading names in the fashion industry. It includes the participation of 35 of the most famous Bollywood designers who are well known for their designs for many Artists from India and Pakistan. In addition, to the participation of the global footwear designer Mr. Zul Mohd who is best known for designing the queen of England’s shoes and Kate the wife of Prince Charles and many other red carpet celebrities.
The participants interested in women and their needs will be announced at the conference, in addition to the thrilling exhibits which can be found all around the exhibition, through the participation of over 150 exhibitors relating to aspects concerning the beauty of women and her elegance from cosmetics, various accessories, and the finest designs of Jalabiya’s and abaya’s.
As the conference will not only revolve around the participants concerned about women and their beauty but to the humanitarian aspects as well, where it will be announced that part of the exhibitions profit will be dedicated to the Royal Charity Organization where a number of widows will be honoured at the exhibition. A total number of 50 widows will receive donations from fashion designers to the empolyees of the cooperation, as this is the seventh contribution in a row which is a repetition of the previous Abaya Exhibition.
Among the highlights which will be announced during the conference are the details of the competition , which will be in cooperation with Shop Bahrain which is part of the campaign launched by Tamkeen in Ramadhan for the creative amateurs of design through their participation of their creations of a collection of abayas, as the winner and his/her contributions in displaying his/her design in the exhibition during the fashion show.
As it is mentioned, the press conference is scheduled to take place during the morning period specifically at 11:30, where it is expected for the audio, video and visual media from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the gulf countries and the world and arab media to be present. Moreover, this years exhibition features the sponsorship of a collection of Saudi newspapers and magazines. In addition, the press conferece will be sponsored by : Asghar ali perfumes , Damas Jewellery , Devji Jewellery , Ramada Hotel , The Domain Hotel and Troufa Chocolates.
