Yalla Banat partners with Centerpoint & Mothercare for – “Mothers in the driver’s seat”

As part of the monumental event Yalla Banat which will be held on October 19th at The Bahrain International Circuit – Yalla Banat has partnered with Centerpoint & Mothercare in Bahrain to host an exclusive pre- event for “Mothers in the driver’s seat” The event was held in the new Oasis Mall – Juffair at Centerpoint on Wednesday, October 3rd.

The exclusive event hosted 50 attendees including 8 mothers in Bahrain that come from different backgrounds and industries, Centerpoint team leaders and respected members of the society representing various associations.

Panelists included Banah; an independent artist in Bahrain and Radio Host of 96.5, Rana Alamuddin; is a Lebanese actress & TV host working between Hollywood & the Middle East, Ouiam El Hassani; Columnist at Women This Month and Founder of Amwaj Mamas, Mirna Almaz; Founder of the Raven’s Nest Bahrain and Creative Designer, Andra Limmen; Mommy Life Coach and author of “Consciousness since Birth”, Martyna Al Qassab; Founder of Yalla Banat, Monika Makulska; Experienced manager in beauty and healthcare sector, project manager, staff trainer and quality specialist and Rasha Al Qahtani; former journalist at the Daily Tribune and The Gulf Daily News.

The Mothercare specialist team presented a car seat safety workshop while displaying the new collection of children car seats. It is estimated that as many as 85% of car seats are being used incorrectly and the event wanted to highlight the safety measures for parents when driving with their children in the car.

Additionally, Royal University for Women, Sponsor of Yalla Banat attended the session with several students to support the initiative and the event. As part of Yalla Banat’s mandate to support SMEs and the youth, this partnership with The Royal University for women will amplify this vision by involving students and allowing them to be engage and be part of this platform.

The event also included a session “Ergonomics, Driving and New Mom’s by Dr. Amy Bowzaylo; Clinic Director and CEO of Intouch Clinic Dr. Amy spent 10 years in Saudi Arabia; 7 of which she spent as the Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Triple accredited (JCI, ACI, ACHSI) Saad Specialist Hospital. A large percentage of her patient base in Saudi Arabia came from Bahrain and she sees a need to provide Chiropractic to Bahrain.
