Hamza Kooheji vs. Jeremy Pacatiw slated for Brave 2 “Dynasty”

Hamza Kooheji (4-1) has been handed his toughest test to date against undefeated Filipino Jeremy Pacatiw (5-0) at Brave 2: The Dynasty.

The event will take place in December the 2nd at Khalifa Sports City, Bahrain. In the main event of the evening, a featherweight title fight between Masio Fullen Vs Alan Omer will headline. In the co-main event, Gadzhimusa Gaziev will square of with Nottingham’s Carl ”Bomber” Booth in a welterweight battle of the hardest hitters.

The Bahraini hopeful had a dream fight at Brave 1 “The Beginning”  in front of his family and friends, winning via submission in the second round, and taking almost no damage as he put on his most clinical display to date.

He rose to the occasion then and must do it again, once more at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town, Bahrain, in front of his adoring fans.
Yet he is faced with a huge step up in competition, against Team Lakay’s Pacatiw, who is undefeated as an MMA fighter in both amateur and pro competition. Team Lakay is renowned for being the toughest gym in the Philippines and if you’ve never heard of it, do you remember the Stephan Loman, who dismantled Frans Mlambo over three rounds at Brave 1, with a clinical display of strength and supreme grappling skills? He’s from Team Lakay. They breed grapplers and they breed winners, so Kooheji has his hands full at Brave 2.
Yet Kooheji has some skills of his own which will make this an enthralling contest. He’s also an excellent grappler and possesses a high level submission game, which make him dangerous at any moment in the fight. He has been working tirelessly on his stand-up skills in order to become a complete mixed martial artist so we may see evidence of this at Brave 2, if he can stifle the relentless Filipino’s grappling attacks.
This is very much a fight which could make or break the careers of both these young Bantamweight fighters. The winner will see their career continue on an upward curve, where a loss will deal a big blow to the aspirations of one of these highly-regarded prospects.
