Al Hilal healthcare group organized the Kingdom’s largest cake mixing ceremony

Pregnancy is a beautiful reminder of the strength that resides within a woman. To make it even stronger, Al Hilal Healthcare Group, in association with Lulu Group, organized Bahrain’s Largest Mother’s Cake Mix on 08 December 2023 at Lulu Hypermarket, Muharraq. Al Hilal Mother & Child Unit organized the event for expectant mothers to make their journey even sweeter. With the participation of more than 150 pregnant participants, the cake-mixing ceremony marked a huge success.

The event started its registration at 5 in the evening and was followed by a question and answer session by the pregnant women directly to our expert team of gynecologists.

The event included a photo booth where all participants instantly got photos of their families.

The event had the presence of Dr. Sharath Chandran (CEO of Al Hilal Healthcare Group), Mr. Asif Mohammed (Vice President of Al Hilal Healthcare Group), CA Sahal Jamaludheen (Finance Manager of Al Hilal Healthcare Group, Mr. Franco Francis (Branch Head of Al Hilal, Muharraq), and Mr. Shibin (General Manager, Lulu Hypermarket).

Mr. Franco Francis welcomed the audience and thanked the expectant mothers and families for becoming a part of this historic event. Dr. Sharath Chandran mentioned: “It feels so proud and happy to see more than 150 mums-to-be’s making the enormous cake in December to mark history in Bahrain.” He also added that he feels so happy to partner with Lulu, whom Al Hilal has associated for over seven years. Mr. Asif Mohammed said: “It’s a marvelous initiative from Al Hilal’s gynecologists to participate in the cake-mixing ceremony, who also takes care of expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy.”

At the end of the event, various lucky draw were held. Two lucky women amongst won Free Delivery Vouchers at Al-Hilal that they can redeem at the time of their deliveries, 20 pregnant women received BD 50 cash vouchers for delivery from Al Hilal. The participants also received three months of free pregnancy consultation at Al Hilal, Free Pediatric Consultations, gift hampers for mothers and new babies, and supplementary support for pregnant women.
