The American University of Bahrain (AUBH) announced its sponsorship and participation in the upcoming Bahrain Education and Training Exhibition (EDUX 2019) which is held under the patronage of the Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and will run from Thursday 13th until Saturday 15th June 2019 at City Centre Bahrain.
On this occasion, Dr Susan E. Saxton, Founding President of AUBH expressed her pleasure at AUBH’s sponsorship of this important exhibition which caters to a large number of students embarking on their higher education journey as well as to employees who are interested in developing their professional skill set and capabilities. The exhibition will give visitors the opportunity to learn more about the different programs AUBH has to offer.
“The establishment of AUBH is aligned with the Kingdom’s plan for upscaling the country’s academic quality, enhancing its innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and advancing Bahrain’s status as an educational role model in the region. AUBH is an American-style university that delivers a holistic educational experience unique to the Arab region, with a strong emphasis on graduate outcomes and employability,” commented Dr. Susan.
EDUX 2019 focuses on bringing together accredited universities and training institutes under one roof and showcasing their programs in different fields. The exhibition is being held to facilitate meeting opportunities between potential students and different educational institutions, as well as being an annual platform to meet the educational needs of different students.
Commenting on AUBH’s participation, Dr. Susan stressed on the University’s eagerness to participate and support educational events in the Kingdom which aim to elevate the industry. Furthermore, sponsoring EDUX 2019 is in line with AUBH’s efforts to promote and raise awareness about the University’s offerings as it prepares to open its doors in September 2019.
