BAC holds Employee Excellence Awards ceremony

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), honoured 10 diligent team members with the Employee Excellence Award in recognition of their important contributions to the company’s overall success. In attendance at the award ceremony were BAC senior management, including BAC Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, who presented the awards.

Eligibility criteria for the award includes initiative to carry out additional responsibilities; suggesting and implementing new ideas; improving the work process; maintaining a positive attitude towards work responsibilities, co-workers, and internal and external customers; serving as a role model for others; ensuring commitment to quality in carrying out job responsibilities; and preventing hazards at the workplace.

Mr. Al Binfalah said: “The BAC Employee Excellence Awards serve to recognise the contributions of outstanding team members who have consistently gone above and beyond their duties. On behalf of BAC, I would like to thank these team members for their dedication and for setting a positive example for everyone. It is their efforts which have helped us succeed as a company, particularly as we take on our most ambitious project to date, the Airport Modernisation Program.”

He added: “One of our objectives is the development of the national workforce, particularly in the aviation sector. Our training and development programs equip our team with the skills they need to succeed. Evidenced by the increasing number of team members receiving these Employee Excellence Awards on a regular basis.”

BAC Awardees

The team members who received the award were Salem Ali AlMutawa and Noora Wael Sayar, from Terminal Operations; Abdulla Isa Asheer, from Airside Operations; Mohamed Saleh Shehab, from Finance; Santrupta Padhi, from Commercial & Marketing; Khalil Ebrahim Mahmood, from Human Resources; Ahmed Mokhtar Soliman and Salem Ali Sulaibeekh, from Development; Ali Husain Yusuf, from Airside and Landside Maintenance; and Sameer Khalifa Buallay, from Infrastructure and Building Maintenance.
