Bahrain Airport Company staff honoured with Productivity Improvement Practice Certificates

Twenty Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) team members were recognised with certificates for completing a Productivity Improvement Practice (PIP) programme aimed at enhancing efficiency in the workplace and identifying areas for improvement. In attendance at the award ceremony were BAC senior management, including BAC Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, who presented the certificates.

JAFCON Consultants for Productivity Improvement delivered the course, which is accredited by the Institute of Management Services (IMS) and the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) UK. Sponsored by Tamkeen, the course helps participants to measure workplace productivity levels using internationally recognised tools. It applies a ‘learn by doing’ approach and is comprised of three levels.

Mr Al Binfalah said: “The development of our employees is a key pillar of BAC’s growth strategy. Through a series of workshops and training programmes, the company has developed a highly skilled and efficient workforce that it is proud of. This course equips participants with a range of productivity improvement techniques and tools that have been shown to directly benefit both individuals and organisations as a whole in terms of monetary value, better utilisation of resources, reducing non-value added activities, and spreading the culture of proactive and continual improvement.”
