Bahrain Polytechnic signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hope Talents, the talent management arm of Hope Fund, to support and empower Bahraini young talents’ development and achievements, facilitating their involvement into the labour market as well as their professional advancement, fostering local human capital.
The MOU was signed by Bahrain Polytechnic Chief Executive Officer Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin and Hope Talents General Manager Latifa Mohamed.
The MOU discussed cooperation between the two parties to enable the Polytechnic tutors, students, and graduates to participate in different events, workshops, and seminars, in addition to hosting speakers and cooperating in research field, which subsequently lead to the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences, all of which facilitate the students’ involvement in the labour market, and enhances the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in supporting youth and fostering their contributions to the development process.
In this regard, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin stated: “We are delighted to sign this agreement with Hope Talents, one of the pioneering and innovative initiatives in the region. We are confident that it will make a significant impact on youth and develop their skills”.
Professor Ó Catháin confirmed that the Polytechnic’s Strategic Plan 2023-26 has set among its priorities to develop creative thinking among its students, through cooperation with various institutions and bodies, and by providing all sectors with a qualified workforce that contribute to the achievement of Bahrain’s 2030 Vision towards a dynamic, renewable, and knowledge-based economy.
General Manager of Hope Talent Latifa Mohamed indicated: “This partnership will contribute to the launch of substantial initiatives that can provide added value to Bahrain youth and enhance their capabilities.”
Hope Talents has created and manages a national database of high-potential and driven talents, where it provides career opportunities, upskilling programs, and professional development initiatives.
