The Saturday Biryani Party with Workers (SBPW) are pleased to announce they have a new crew member on board, Bob, the BFC Buddy.
Founded by Mr. Abbas Khan and his wife, Mahrukh in 2015, the SBPW is a community based group of volunteers who deliver food parcels to construction workers every Saturday of the month. The group have recently celebrated their 1st anniversary and have given away over 16,000 food parcels in the past 55 consecutive weeks.
From Saturday 11th June 2016, BFC have joined forces with the SBPW, along with their brand ambassador Bob, the BFC Buddy, who is joining the party as its newest crew member to help distribute food to the construction workers. Mr. Abbas Khan, Founder of SBPW commented on the partnership saying, “We are delighted to have BFC and Bob on board as our new partner. The support that BFC and Bob are committing to this community initiative will provide approximately 10,000 biryani meals over the coming months. BFC’s support will make a huge difference to this grass-root level initiative and I am sure the children volunteers will love Bob helping them deliver food to workers.”
Commenting further on the partnership, Mr. Kashif Khan, General Manager BFC said, “Having heard of this great community initiative, BFC felt compelled to support the tremendous work of the Saturday Biryani Party for Workers.
