The Board of Directors of Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) escalated their utmost thanks and gratitude to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Charity Works, the National Security Advisor, President of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports for his constant support to the federation as well as for his steadfast follow-up to its activities.
This came in the during the first meeting of BREEF’s Board of Directors under the chairmanship of HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa following his recent appointment. HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa also extended his thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment for his enormous efforts during his presidency of BREEF which led to the development across the competitions, the administrative and technical works. Furthermore, HH Shaikh Isa underscored that the federation will continue implementing HH Shaikh Nasser’s and HH Shaikh Rashid’s instructions to continue upgrading the contests and meet all the goals set by the board.
Meanwhile, the board discussed the inauguration race of the endurance season which will take place on November 23, 2019 and instructed all the committees to fully prepare for holding it to give it the best organisation. The members also discussed the showjumping competitions and the horse beauty contests. They expressed their keenness to support all the studs, athletes and jockeys throughout the new season to pave the way for them to produce their utmost efforts and reflect a bright image of the horse sports in Bahrain. Additionally, the members studies several proposals to attract sponsors to the event.
