BTEA Announces Tamkeen’s Support in Training Bahrainis in the Hospitality and Tourism Sector

The Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), H.E. Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa received the Chief Executive of Tamkeen, Dr. Ebrahim Janahi on the 13th of September 2018.

During the meeting, H.E. Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa and Dr. Ebrahim Janahi discussed the existing and future collaboration opportunities in addition to Tamkeen’s support in training Bahraini students who wish to enroll at Vatel Hotel and Tourism Business School, which will open in Bahrain next month. This comes in line with the BTEA’s strategy to further develop the skills of nationals within the hospitality and tourism sector.

Vatel is the 1st Worldwide Business School Group in Hospitality and Tourism Management and now has 31 Schools, 7,000 students and 29,000 alumni who are a living proof of the success of its teaching approach.

H.E. Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa lauded Tamkeen’s support in training the national workforce in the hospitality and tourism sector and in providing them with a wide array of career opportunities, which benefit the development of this industry as a whole as one of the main contributors to the national economy in line with the Kingdom’s 2030 Economic Vision
