A number of Bahrain-based chief executives have been honored for their efforts to incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) and modern technologies in their businesses. The second edition of the Bahrain Awards Ceremony for chief executive officers was held under the patronage of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) president, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Social Development Minister Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf and several other officials were present at the prizedistribution ceremony.
The ceremony was hosted by UAE-based AI Global Group and GEC Media Group in partnership with His Highness Shaikh Nasser Centre for Research and Development in AI. A series of panel discussions related to AI and digital transformation were also held during the conference. The awards ceremony is part of a wider effort by the government to promote the use of AI and future sciences in the country.
The event also provided a platform for the sharing of ideas and best practices among businesses and organisations. In recent years, Bahrain has invested heavily in the development of AI and related technologies.
