Get Your International Driving License Issued Online at Bahrain.bh

Having an international driving license while you’re travelling not only makes it easier to get around but can also be an important safety measure. It can protect you from certain situations that you may face in foreign lands. However, trying to finish license-related tasks can be very time-consuming. You will be happy to know that you can now get your international driving license issued online by visiting National Portal Bahrain.bh.

The new service, offered in collaboration between the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) and the General Directorate of Traffic (GDT), allows users to perform their transactions in an efficient and convenient way.

Simply visit Bahrain.bh, select “International Driving License”, “Launch Service”, choose “Issuance of International Driving License” from the list, then follow the indicated steps. Make sure all the required documents are available. Users must login with their eKey to benefit from the service.

Before applying, please ensure the validity of your Bahraini driving license, and clean record of conservations. The service also allows you to pay online and receive the issued license via mail.

A range of other traffic related services are also offered on Bahrain.bh and GDT Mobile App on Bahrain.bh/apps, such as viewing details of driving licenses and vehicles registration, paying due amounts for driving licenses and registration renewal, issuance of traffic certificates for commercial registrations, and many others.

For more information, please visit the national portal at bahrain.bh, or follow us on @iGAbahrain for the latest eservices and news.
