Grace 6/10: Empowering women

Making Them Fit

Bahrain is now endowed with a unique women empowering project called Grace 6/10  which is aimed at strengthening and enhancing the wellbeing of  the women in Bahrain.

The concept behind this project is a  graduation research paper by a young woman called Noora Jaber which was about the working and non-working mothers in Bahrain and the stress they go through to look after their family, home and job. The results were very disappointing as the results show that many women are lacking knowledge on the importance of health and fitness to help them release their daily life stress.

The project overview is to mentor and coach the women out there to know more about the importance of this case. The project entails classes to release the stress by doing Zumba workouts, self-defense class to release stress and negative energy and many other new trends in the fitness world. The focus is mainly on mothers and older women who are neglecting themselves and not having time to look after their overall wellbeing.

The Grace 6/10 team is currently working on the road show campaigns with companies, schools, hospitals, women societies, etc., to reach out to a large number of women and give them classes on how to release stress by exercise. They are currently focused on the mentorship and coaching women to help them understand the importance of health and fitness especially at older age.

The upcoming events for October are free classes for the breast cancer women in Bahrain.
