Mrs. Hala Azzam, Gulf Air Manager Emergency Response Planning, recently chaired The Arab Air Carriers’ Organization (AACO) Emergency Response Planning Steering Committee held at the Egypt Air Crisis Management Center. This was attended by emergency response planning managers from AACO member airlines that have signed the emergency response management mutual assistance agreement and was focused on ensuring greater synergy between all parties.
Mrs. Azzam, representing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, is the first Bahraini elected Chairperson of The Arab Air Carriers’ Organization Emergency Response Planning Steering Committee. She is also the first Bahraini to be qualified by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as an Aviation Security Professional Manager – one of the most advanced aviation security training programmes in existence today. She also recently attended the AACO Annual General meeting held in Casablanca, the Kingdom of Morocco delivering the 2016 AACO Emergency Response Planning Steering Committee report and the Emergency Response Planning Steering Committee’s 2017 Plan.
