His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today performed Eid Al Fitr prayers at Al-Sakhir Palace Mosque.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HM the King’s sons and senior members of the Royal Family, Shura Council chairman, Council of Representatives Speakers and others also performed the prayers.Â
HM the King and the worshipers heard the Eid Al Fitr sermon which was delivered by Sunni Endowments Council Chairman Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri, who highlighted the lofty values of fraternity, compassion and solidarity embedded in Eid Al Fitr.
He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM King Hamad with abundant health, happiness and long life so as to continue bringing about further achievements to the nation.Â
He also wished the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people everlasting security, safety, progress and prosperity, under HM the King’s wise leadership, praying to Allah the Almighty to accept everyone’s fasting, night prayers and good deeds.
Following the prayers and the sermon, HM King Hamad exchanged greetings and good wishes with worshippers and congratulated the people of Bahrain, wishing the kingdom and its people, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations many happy returns and further progress and prosperity.
The worshipers extended their heartfelt congratulations on this occasion, wishing HM the King abundant good health, happiness and long life, as well as continued success in enhancing the progress and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain and further landmark national achievements.
