With the holidays season just around the corner, many of Bahrain’s citizens and residents will spend their time traveling via the King Fahad Causeway. If you are planning such a trip, then you will need to secure car insurance. Thanks to a dedicated service available on the eTraffic app, the process is quick and straightforward.
Provided by the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), in association with United Insurance Company, the eService allows Citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain to issue an insurance policy that covers their trips to Saudi Arabia. For vehicles registered to organizations, users must select ‘Commercial’ as the owner type and then insert the company’s Commercial Registration (CR) number when filling out the details.
Visitors from Saudi Arabia can also insure their vehicles via the eTraffic app for a minimum period of three days in Bahrain. Users also have other services available through the app, such as issuance of vehicle authorization and verification, and ability to review registration certificates and driving licenses. After filling out the online form and making the payment, the insurance policy will be sent via email. The entire process is quick, easy, and convenient.
