A new batch of pilots from the Gulf Air -Tamkeen programme recently took to the skies with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier as they completed ground and base training courses. A group of 7 pilots are now operating as Second Officers to complete a set of flying hours and earn their next stripe to be First Officers.
The cooperation between Gulf Air and Tamkeen is tailored to the airline’s requirements and brings a value-added, unmatched training experience to Gulf Air’s aviation professionals. Gulf Air and Tamkeen have signed the joint agreement in May 2018 aimed at enhancing opportunities for the training and employment of Bahrainis within the Kingdom’s aviation sector.
