The Authentic Taste of Philippines at Christine’s Kitchen-Pinay Spices Restaurant

Located at Gudaibiya, Christine’s Kitchen-Pinay Spices Restaurant is an Asian fusion restaurant serving contemporary Filipino and continental cuisines.

Owned and managed by Cristina Lising, the menu specialises in authentic Filipino dishes as the name indicates. Christine’s Kitchen creates a fusion of Mexican, Japanese and Korean cuisine with Pinay creating a unique style.

What makes Christine’s Kitchen quite unique among all other Filipino restaurants over Bahrain is the exotic experience that they offer from the service to the cusines. Kare-Kare, Sisig, Siomai, Calamares, and Samalamig are some of the popular dishes in demand. Christine’s Kitchen’s innovative version of Giant Butterfly Squid included of java rice is available only at Christine’s Kitchen!

Sometimes you will be surprised of what you can get from Christine’s Kitchen. For instance, Adobo Maki fire floss paired with Crispy Maki topped with spicy crab are one of the unique creations from Christine’s Kitchen.  Flavored Puto Bumbong with Bukayo, Ube, Pandan, Camote, and Munggo were introduced for the first time in Bahrain at the Pinay Spices Restaurant. Seafood lovers can relish into our Fisherman’s Bucket which consists of fish, squids, crabs and clams. Pinay Spices restaurant dishes as Crispy Palabok Tower is so creative also known as the crispy Noodle tower and garnished with shrimp, eggs, meat and vegetables. Every dish is made with love and heaps of nostalgia.

The Gotong Batangas from Christine’s Kitchen is a must try item for the winter season. Special Halo Halo is the diner’s favourite dessert consisting of Vanilla ice cream, caramel, jello, sweet corn, tapioca, banana and tender coconut garnished with crispy toasted rice flakes and sever over shaved ice.

The reasonable priced menu and the friendly staff have gathered loyal customers over the time. The lively atmosphere and the enthusiastic staff along with the great host Christine has won many recommendations so far. The quick and efficient service in combination with delicious food has made the restaurant a personal favourite for many diners.

The restaurant also caters for events and parties and very responsive, attentive and helpful with recommendations. Open since May 2017, we serve from 11am to 12pm. We also have a party hall.
