Aisha BuAli at Al Salam Bank Bahrain featured on WOMANi 2020 Award List

Al Salam Bank, a pioneering Shari’a-compliant Bank in Bahrain, has announced the nomination of Ms. Aisha BuAli, Head of Business Development, amongst the list of WOMANi Awards 2020, which honor the top 150 most influential and leading women in the world of Islamic banking and finance globally. The list was revealed on Tuesday 15th December by the Cambridge IFA, a financial services intelligence house that specializes in developing and utilizing powerful cutting-edge analytical tools to evaluate business data, assess macroeconomic indicators and understand market trends, leadership positioning and brand development relevant to the development of the financial services industry globally.

Aisha BuAli has a cumulative experience of nine years in the banking sector. Having begun her career as a credit analyst in the Risks Management Department, she then moved to the Banking Services Department as a Relations Manager for four years until she was appointed to her current position by the Bank’s Management for her experience in the Credit and Corporate Sectors.

On this occasion, Ms. Muna Al Balooshi, Head of Human Resources and Administration at Al Salam Bank said, “We would like to congratulate our colleague Aisha on this achievement of being featured on the WOMANi 2020 list, this honor further reiterates our commitment to empowering our female workforce, equipping future generations of women with the skills and knowledge required to keep up with the constant changes in the sector and emerge as leaders, which will undoubtedly contribute positively to the future of Islamic Banking and Finance.”
