Bahrain Airport Services Company (BAS) honored 13 employees who successfully completed a one-year specialized accounting and tax training course.

On this occasion Mr. Salman Al-Mahmeed, CEO of the BAS said: “In the time of commercial changes around the world, the need for qualified cadres in the field of accounting becomes important”.

He added that BAS decided to invest in its human capital for long and short term goals. The most important of these is the qualification of these minds to participate in achieving the highest standards of quality and performance.

Al-Mahmeed also praised the Learning and Training Department for its efforts in developing the skills of the company’s employees by developing well thought out and comprehensive plans that cover all the needs of knowledge employees. Which comes in line with BAS’s strategy of promoting the business environment, activating the principles of justice and competitiveness, applying business ethics and evaluating competencies.

He pointed out that BAS is continuously capable of creating jobs and providing Bahrainis with it, and thus providing them with the job market after training and refinement in the various fields of work.

Also, BAS has raised the number of trainees beneficiaries during the year 2018 to twice the number of trainees last year, the total number of participants in the training programs more than 2800 trainees during the first half of the year 2018, a sign of increasing the interest of the company staff And provide them with the necessary support.
