INJAZ Bahrain, a non-profit organization and a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide (JA), that aims to inspire and prepare Bahrain’s youth to succeed in the global economy, has won two prestigious awards at the Global Higher Education Exhibition (GHEDEX) that was held at Exhibition World Bahrain.
Hosted for the first time in Bahrain, The GHEDEX exhibition inaugurated by the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma’a, provided an opportunity for over 200 local and international universities, colleges, and institutes to exhibit, interact, recruit and connect with over 30,000 students, parents, officials, and other academic representatives.
During the GHEDEX Awards for Excellence in Higher Education ceremony, which was held on the sidelines of the expo, INJAZ Bahrain received two coveted awards, the “Entrepreneur Development Award” and the “Students Businesses Award” in recognition of its exceptional efforts in empowering Bahraini youth to become successful entrepreneurs. Additionally, INJAZ Bahrain’s Company Program team ‘Pytronics’ from Al Jaberya Secondary Boys School was awarded the ‘Leadership Development Award’.
INJAZ Bahrain’s recognition at GHEDEX is a testament to the organization’s outstanding efforts in empowering young Bahrainis to become successful entrepreneurs. Through a range of programs, including the signature curriculum – the Company Program – implemented in high schools and universities under the guidance of mentors from the private and public sector, INJAZ Bahrain provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the start-up company life cycle. By helping students start their own businesses, INJAZ Bahrain has been able to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit of Bahraini youth and prepare them for future success in the business world. The organization’s success in this regard is reflected in the recognition that they have received at the event.
